My company organised a charity initiative to bring the children from S'pore Aid Society to the Singapore Flyer last Saturday. Each of us were assigned to a child to take care throughout the 'flight'. I brought Sher along and let her experience this meaningful event. I must admit that she was well behaved throughout the day. She might felt overwhelmed by the large nos of children older than her as she was not her usual self, was pretty quiet and reserved. We mingled with the children and was glad that in some way or other, we had put cheer into them even it was only a few hours.
Overall, I am more grateful and appreciates what I have in my life, reminding myself not to take life for granted. For it is a blessing to have family always there for you. I love my family!
