I was pleasantly surprised that Shervon could count from 1 - 10 (although not all nos she could say, but when u say 1, she could continue with no. 2) Think her favorite no. should be 5 & 9 as she likes to hi-5/hi- 5 show & her grandparents stay at Level 9. Most no. in her vocab currently are 1 - 6, 8-10.. .missin 7. hehee... am now teaching her 11 as we are staying at tis level.

Btw, Charlene had bought our tickets to the Hi-5 Live Action Heros on 27 May, 7.30pm. Hoping that the girls will have a whopping good time! We took the $48 tkts so should be sitting around Area B.

Sher always love to say "nice, nice" whenever she come across something pretty eg. nice flowery details on her clothin or even my glittering diamond earrings. :P (her 口头茧) Also "happy' is somthing she will say when she's in such a mood.

Nowadays, they even have such classes for parents to attend - disciplining their kids, it's really a lot more easier during our grandparents or parents time!!

Such stress we parents are facing.... ohhh... really!

But I must agree that parents are more involved in their children's lives & their individual development even though we are busy with our day to day lives & hectic schedules.

Finally, I had collected the Leappad from Irene's friend, Karen yesterday. (Thank you, Irene for the arrangement, so sweet of u) Then, we went over to Charlene's place to do some catching up & let the girls hang out & play. Tried out the leappad at Charlene's place and both the girls were quite curious as I was trying to get it out of the packaging. Both seems to be having a good time & chermaine seems more 'into' the leappad as she tried pointing & laughing after the animal sound. While Shervon was busy fumbling with the pages of the books, so worried that she tore it before using it...

Last nite, I got a rude shock upon returning after my visit to my in-law house. I was greeted by Black Paint splashed on my main door entrance. Apparently, my neighbours got into trouble with 'Ah Long' & my house door also didn't escape tis fate of paint splashing. Damn 'suay' lor!! During my conversation with another neighbour's maid, the police turned up to our unit about 5 mins later.

My neighbour had already called them and when he opened his door, I immediately complained to him about it. He was quite apologetic about the whole incident. Then, the police took a couple of shots as evidence and went into my neighbour's house to take down his statement & file the case. The lady officer also told me that I could get compensation from my neighbour on this. After our discussion between hb & me, we thought we should let the matter rest as the paint could be removed using 'thinner'.

But, when we woke up the next day, the black paint has been removed by my neighbour. It seemed that he was 'paiseh' about the whole thing and cleaned up the 'act' asap.

Shervon recovered from fever on Sunday morning (Praise God it's Easter) and so we decided to go ahead with the KM class at 1pm. So we trio took a bus to KM and Sher is reluctant to fall asleep throughout the ride although she's really dead tired. She was still feelin lethargic & react inspontaneously through the class. Obviously she's still having her fever blues, so unlike of her usual cheerful disposition.

The moment we reached KM, she did not went over to the balls immediately as she normally would have. But, she just stood at the doorway and Doreen went up to her & brought her into the class and mingle with the other babies. Then, she discovered that sher's elbow was bleeding (from her previous adventure to crawl in a super-fast speed, thus the skin broke due to excess friction) and fussed over her, bringing me a handyplast for her wound. Parachute was introduced to the class but most babies would be looking around in search of their parents instead of enjoying the whole 'fun process' as parents turn the parachute around with the babies sat on it. Sher certainly wasn't enjoying herself & cried later soon after.

As we did not attend the class in 2 Apr due to my uncle's funeral & therefore made arrangements for the makeup class on Monday. We were rather early for class as I've forgotten the timing for class, supposedly it's at 11.30. Luckily, we reached at 11.15 and so we waited for 15mins, loitering around the Mall. Janice who was the teacher told me that it's a rather small class with only 3 toddlers incl of sher & proceed to assure me that she will pay more attention to each individual. We were introduced to a new instrument, the mini xylophone (made of wood) and they were taught on rythmic sense as they played along to different beat. Overall, I find the class rather comprehensive.

Btw, Lina had passed me the gym stuff on sunday... wanted to post the cool pair of sunglasses, Sher was lovin' it, prim n posin' with it. As for the tee, it seems like a size bigger 4 sher, will wait 4 awhile before letting her wear it.

Last nite, after we had dinner, I realised that sher was not her usual self, was cranky & lethargic & along the stroll home, she fell asleep on her daddy's broad shoulder. Noticed that she had a slight fever & was wondering whether it was the heavy rain as we had lunch in the Kopitiam downstairs earlier in the afternoon.

Throughout the night, I woke up & sponged her and luckily by daybreak, the fever subsides. But after lunch today, she developed fever again and highest temp went up to 38.9 degree!! Food was her 'poison' as she kept rejecting it, if not will be vomitting most of it. Gosh, my poor lit' darling was screaming her lungs out when I try to sponge her with the wet cloth, tears was seemingly endless & it was heartbreaking esp for me but I continued & finish up sponging her.

Then, I realised it might be her teething problems as I chances upon her emerging white tootsie on her upper & lower gum. IT will be sleepless nite for tis few days ... just hope it will end earlier... or I'll be "Panda Mama" when I'm back to work.

Yippee!!!... After 2 weeks of anxious wait, Gymboree items finally arrived & of cos the Little touch Leappad which somehow or rather coincide along with gym items... ;)

Have bought sher a pair of gingham sunglasses & a Bloom Tee. Loves the sunglasses, very the 'retro' & cool too!! I will post pics after collecting the stuff from Lina. Leappad was also due for collection at Serene place but couldn't make it on last Sunday.

As appraisal is approaching esp workplace in the public sector, find this amusing,

Yesterday was hubby's day off from work so we brought Sher for KM for the 1st time together. We managed to take bus 75 and surprisingly, was still 15 mins earlier. (If it's for me alone with sher, I will surely take a cab :p) And it was good that sher had her nap throughout the ride and only when we reach KM that she woke up.

The minute I loosen the grasp of her hand, sher was immediately attracted to a handful of colourful balls lying on the carpet floor leaving me hurrying behind her. Saw many new babies and proceed with her rounds of mingling with her peers. Without Phoebe & Elodie, she's the only walker of the class.. so while the rest of the babies were sitting on the mummies lap, I was practically 'chasing' her round the class. As Doreen handed the drums to each baby, sher was eyeing on the rest of the babies drum, and walked to each drum and bang on theirs. Some new songs were sang and soon, it was time to say goodbye... but our little princess still doesn't want to go back as she's still very much yearning to play with the balls. Even when, everyone has left the class, she's still grabbing tightly of the ball. Am wondering what if there's really a room full of balls, will she be jumping with joy? Maybe, that might be her top wishlist... heheee

Sher's recent feat is to mimic other people action, or even to imitate exactly to the sound effect eg. animal sounds like the lion roarrr... cow's mooo... duck quack. Basically, whatever you say, it will register into her brain & will 'mirror' exactly by what she heard. At times, she will pry on you, observing your action... like for eg. talking on the phone, making funny faces.

Princess S: I need a ticket to Sydney soonest possible, hey, I'm serious!

Yesterday incident was the final straw for me! Think enough is enough, most likely will be changing to another maid... ...

On Saturday, I was already frustrated with her drying the 'washed' apples using the dish cloth. Only when I realised a medicine powder smell after chewing a few bites of the apple that I questioned her whether did she wash the apples, she replied, "Yes, I did wash & dry the apples." Was taken aback when she mentioned 'dry' and further interrograted her... then realised that she almost polished the apples with the cloth .... I could find no words to describe tis maid of mine.

About yesterday incident is really unforgiveable especially for me, since our 1st priority is she must be able to take well care of our 小公主. I taught her to bake potatoes for shervon's lunch before heading to KM class in the pm. She went ahead & started preparing with me supervising her, then I instructed her on the timing & keep watch at the oven in case it overcooks.

After almost an hour & a half, I asked her whether it's done, she told me yes. Luckily, my common sense tell me to check whether it's ok & I asked her to show the cooked potatoes to me. I was disappointed that it was uncooked, the color of the potatoes a dull yellow, goes to show that it's not cooked at all. Then, I asked her whether it's cooked. She could replied me "Chop chop, can feed shervon already" I was hopping mad, is that what she's been feeding my daughter everytime? This wasn't the 1st time that she's cooking the potato, she should know the difference between a cooked & uncooked one. I wasn't blaming her b'cos she do not know how to cook using the oven but her altitude & perception towards feeding shervon with 'raw' food.

This is something I take very seriously, plus since she's here, she has been providing me with enough stress to last a few months. Frankly, if there's ever a choice on hiring her, I rather say "No, Thank you!!"
