We celebrated our wedding anniversary over last weekend at the Amara Sanctuary Resort in Sentosa. Managed to book a Courtyard Suite to spend the weekend, hoping to feel recharged & refreshed as we did not have any travel plans this year due to hb's ongoing study assignments & exams, always having to meet numerous deadlines. The mood was slightly dampened as we collided with a taxi while reversing our car as the wait was taking too long at the admission counter to Sentosa Gateway and we wanted to drive over to another counter. The ongoing taxi accelerated as we reversed our car and the accident happened. There's a slight scratch on the taxi and the driver demanded us to pay S$200. Refused to let this matter get into our high spirit, hb just wanted this matter to rest and agreed. Our car looked more badly dented but we didn't feel the impact and was shocked by the outcome. But amazingly, the next day, the dent didn't look as bad and I thought we might need a little touch-up and it will look as good as new.
We checked into the courtyard suite which comprises a jacuzzi at the backyard garden and took a dip while enjoying the snacks that was provided. Shervon was very much excited and we soaked in for an hour or more before showering and deciding on our dinner plans. Took a bus down to Siloso Beach and had our dinner at Sakae Izuyaki. We missed Songs of the Sea showtime and only watched from afar the fireworks display. Both of my precious seem tired and we decided to take a stroll back to the hotel, on our way, we passed by Imbiah station, the Merlion Statue.
