1st Ballet Lesson
Managed to enrol Shervon (together with Wenzel) into ballet classes which she's exceptionally delighted. Tis is happening on every Sunday from 12.30pm and lasted for 45mins each session. We couldn't make it for the 1st two lessons and hope that the girls can catch up with the class. We even heard from Teacher Evangeline that there will be exam involved and we will get the attire next week. Can't wait to see sher in her tutu. :) Must be really cute. Anyway, the lessons follows the classical ballet (CSTD syllabus) which started on the theatrical syllabus the girls are embarking on. It will follow through a good 1 year then proceed to pre-grade followed by the lower and higher grades. I remembered I did enjoy my ballet lesson but was withdrawn after my mum found that I had too many enrichment programme to handle before I head P1. Mainly, I wanted was to expose her to the activities and explore her interest, not forgetting it will benefit her in other ways.
Anyway, parents weren't allowed in the dance studio and we have to wait outside for their session to end. Luckily, it was only a 45min wait. We could also pop by the swimming pool after classes if sher wasn't tired. After the 1st lesson, we asked the girls what have they learned. They replied in unison that they hopped like a bunny and demonstrated to us. hehee..was just glad that they are having fun. The whole lesson must be a good workout for sher as she napped for 2 -3 hrs in the pm.
