Down with Fever
I might have said things too quickly, as the moment I blogged about Sher being happily settled at school, I got a call from the sch supervisor that Sher was crying hysterically yesterday afternoon. I managed to speak with Sher over the phone and her sobbing was terrible, wished I could appear there at that moment. It all happened during her naptime and after she woke up from her nap. I just called Teacher Melissa to verify on what actually happened. She was telling me that apparently, she thought Teacher Melissa had left the premises and Chinese Teacher, Ms Chen stepped away thus she started crying. It seemed she got attached to the teachers and might felt that she was 'abandoned'. (Usually at home, she's just busy playing on her own unless she has a need, she will either look for helper or me)
I was trying to "fish out" from her personally why she was crying non-stop. She said she wanted to go home... Then, she told me that she did'nt want to go school the next day. I kept telling her she had to go school, 'painting a beautiful picture ' playing with her friends at playground.
We slept early at 9am last night as this few days was obviously less sleeping hours for Sher who could clock atleast 10hrs normally. At around 5am, I woke up and realised that Sher was running a temperature. So today, she had to miss her classes due to fever. Let's hope she will be better next week, keeping my fingers crossed.
