1st Trip to the Zoo
For quite a while ago, we had long wanted to bring Shervon to the zoo but either the weather was gloomy or Daddy was busy working. Last Sunday was the perfect day for the trip to zoo! It was such a sunny day! Aloysius (Shervon's cousin) spent the night over our place. And, he was excited to join us.
I made delicious
pancakes for breakfast before preparing for our trip to
zoo. Th four of us then took a cab & headed to zoo. Shervon was dosing off in the cab as she didn't take an earlier nap. By the time we reached our destination, hubby proceeded to purchase our tickets (2 Adults, 1 child, Sher Free Admission). We were greeted by the friendly staff and volunteer guide who explained to us various species of monkeys eg. probocious monkey.
We followed the trail of the
map provided and strolled through almost every theme park. The Australia outback was quite 'refreshing' as we got a slice of Aussie where the Kangaroos hopped around their spacious enclosures. Afterwhich, we made our way to the Elephant Show, the elephants had all sort of tricks up to their trunks. Towards the end of the show, the elephants squirted splashes w their trunks to the audience as a way of saying goodbye. Then, we also get to see the crocs feeding and was awed by the size of this humongous croc or is it the glass panel that's doin its trick?
Shervon was absolutely fascinated by all the beautiful animals that she's seen for the 1st time. As we ended our trip, Shervon kissed both of us as her way of Thank-You leaving both Mummy & Daddy feeling deeply appreciated.
It's a worth-well trip, I must say although all of us are totally worn-out. While waiting to catch a bus back to CCK, the lit' one was zzzz lying on her daddy's shoulders. We then took 927 back to CCK and headed to Sakae Sushi @Lot 1 for dinner.
