Change in behaviour
It took me some time to gather my thoughts and compose this post. Recently, I noticed a change in Sher's behaviour. It was after her episode of stomach flu. She's much more clingy to me nowadays, it seem she's rather insecure. She doesn't talk to strangers like she used to. (She could chat to any kid sitting next to her when we take the public transport) And displayed meekness/shyness when she meet someone. She also started crying on school-going mornings. I chatted up with her over the weekend, hoping to find an answer to these changes.
It appears that there's a friend that doesn't want to play with her or rather 'friend' her. Then, I told her in reality, she has to accept the fact that people have choices. And she can play with her other friends. This little girl of mine has an innocent perspective of life. But, I can only teach her to be stronger and she will have to face it up on her own. I can't always protect her as rejection is part and parcel of life we have to accept all the time.

Heart breaking
The moment I'm slightly glad with sher eating well, the stomach virus got to her and she was puking non-stop for the whole day on last Wed... This definitely affected her appetite and she's reduced to skin & bone after 5 days. She was on MC for 2 days, resting at home. On Saturday, she complained of tummyache after napping for 15mins and cried non-stop. Then, we decided to send her to KKH-emergency clinic as I got worried.
On arrival of the clinic and the usual procedure for registration/payment, sher got better and could even play around the waiting area. We waited ard 2 hrs before seeing the Doctor. She was prescribed to the medication for her abdominal pain, cough, vomitting.
Now, she has phobia about eating proper meals, esp porridge, rice-w soup. Even if it's a spoonful, she will have tendency of vomitting. She will purposely try to vomit, cos when she's eating snack, she will munch away with no signs of puking. I'm helpless when I saw her turning into a stick... makes me sad.

MuMmY's nOt @wOrK
We had fun yesterday as I took the day off to run some errands and thereafter, I met up w Bb Greg & Ade for a cuppa hi-tea at Crystal Jade + Shopping around town. The little kiddo had her doses of playground fun as promised. Sher was in her best behaviour and shared with me a sunny-side up, Toast and ham. Yummy! I'm amazed that she finished up everything. :D Hope that I could spend atleast once a month doing stuff likes these on a laid back afternoon. ¶ 5:37 PM 0 Comments

NihoN Dinner w Family
Had a cosy dinner last Sunday evening at East Coast, Playground@BigSplash... It's our family favourite, Sushi-Tei.. the setting was quite great with soft Jap music playing on the background while we tucked into our favourite maki, sushi-roll and had a hotpot. Sher had a superb appetite and polished off her tamago kani roll. Then, we took a lazy stroll along the windy side path to digest our stomach. Before ending the night, we caught a movie, 10,000 BC. It was not really a fantastic show but it's all nice as a family outing.

Potty Trained Update
So far, Sher's off the diaper 2 weeks ago during bedtime. She's doing well so far, although we have to wake her up most times when we go for our toilet break too. Hopefully, she's able to wake up and pee herself. Glad that my baby is taking a big step on potty trained.

Movie DaTe
We went for a movie, and it was pretty entertaining for the whole family. Atleast, this time Shervon didn't doze off like she always do.. which means that the movie was good for kids too. What movie exactly did we watch... it's the "WaterHorse - The Legend of the deep". Saw the trailer a few months ago and did a mental note to bring Shervon to watch it. I'm glad we managed to. All in all, the movie plot is similarly closed to Free Willy except the main character Loch Ness Monster aka Waterhorse.
Had a light supper at HK Cafe before the movie started at 11pm.
