New Canon Digital IXUS 860IS
Won a new Canon IXUS camera (Latest model)+ Selphy Printer for the Lucky draw which was entered during our car purchase few months ago. I'm still learning the features of the camera... and boy, am I glad that the LCD screen is 3 inches wide.. :D Hopefully, I'm able to snap more beautiful pix.. snappy happy!!
Some of the features are:
Optical Image Stabliser
8 Mega Pixel (compared to my old, "semi-retired" Olympus which is only 4 Mega Pix)
Multi-Face detection
High speed shooting
Anyway, it's considered a gift cos I've been eyeing for a new camera!

A good book
Just discovered a good parenting book “How to behave so your children will, too!” Some of the written experiences were so relevant to what kids are nowadays. I will be hunting down this book for sure.

My notti MaN
As we were driving back after swimming & Lunch last Sunday, Sher suddenly stood up behind the carseat and proclaimed loudly, "This is my notti man!" (refering to his daddy)Then, she sweetly laid her head, hugging her daddy from behind. Daddy then said, "Shervon is my notti girl." This whole conversation caused me to chuckle out loud. She never fails to surprise us in the little things she say & does.

初七- 人日快乐/T's Bday
今天是人日，我们一家人聚在一起庆祝这个节日。鱼生当然是少不过的一道菜。今年，连小公主也凑热闹，和我们一起捞鱼生。猜一猜哪一只是洁玲的手？
We also had a mini belated celebration for helper, T whose birthday fall on Monday. Got her a surprise cake, her favourite Mango cake. Look at how Sher got all excited singing her the birthday song.

Before I was Mom
Was tagged by Mummy Irene.

Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom
I had never been puked on.Pooped on.Chewed on.Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache,the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.
Before I was a Mom
I never knew the magic of multi-tasking.
I never experienced the wonders of joy seeing her grow, change and develop.
I never understood the unconditional love which motherhood brings.
I never felt a need to finish the leftover food.
I never considered the motivation to embrace and appreciate the time spent as days pass by.
Before I was a Mom
I have super memory.
I sleep like nobody's biz.
I talk about fashion trend, travel plans and beauty tips.
I never expect myself to clear urine and shit everyday and still be happy.
I could never imagine the amount of effort, time, love, attention, sacrifices and money needed to care for a child.
I never know I could accomplished so much :)

I wake up when I'm recharged.
I catch as many movies during the weekend.
I spent my $$ on my personal shopping list.
I never felt selflessly in Love for someone, my Baby.

DaY at MuMmY OFfiCe
Today, I woke up very early and am excited that I'd be going to my mummy's work place. I keep pestering her for months that I wanted to visit her office and see what she's doing, what is working all about. So, now is the time where I'm able to see it. We nearly missed the morning bus that Mummy took daily. Luckily, Mummy spotted the bus and called Driver uncle to wait for us. After alighting the bus, we took a short walk to mummy's office building, the window panels are green in colour. Mummy even pointed out the building from afar.
Then, we took an elevator to the office.... wow, it's so high and I keep insisting on pressing the buttons. I waved 'hi' to mummy's colleagues and then sat beside mummy. For a short while, I behaved myself by writing on the print-out that mummy gave me. But, I was soon bored and ran around the office like it's my own playground. There's even a full window beside mummy's desk which I could view the tiny cars on the road below. It was so much fun! Many Aunties even gave me sweets... so nice of them. Soon, it was time for us to leave and Daddy was picking us up. I asked mummy again when I could visit but she said only if I behaved myself.
