We've got visitors.. frm JaPaN
My hubby's aunt fr Japan came over to celebrate X'mas... And, as host of the lit' island, we brought them around town and shopping, photo taking is something not to be missed. Shervon as ever sociable and initiated to hold Eimo's hands, hugging him during phototaking (Eimo is hubby's cousin Maria's son). My unbashful girl, dunno whether you will blush when you grow older..

X'mas Celebration at Kat's (Backdated post)
We went to Kat's place for our CG X'mas Celebration on last Saturday, 22 Dec and it was filled with merry spirit... of cos with the blessing of God, food was in abundance and fingerlickin' gd! We were supposed to prepare a dish and the thoughtful hosts prepared so much food and effort into the decoration even to the minor details. And I did starter - Cheesy Prawn (Got the receipe fr Wokking Mom, proven well received :) Just a way to enjoy each other company and getting the message across on what X'mas is all about, The Birth of Jesus our Messiah... who came down to earth and went through a series of humble beginning, suffering like us through sickness and pain. So that he could redeem our sins.

Merry X'mas to ALL
Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry X'mas & A happy 2008! Thanks for the X'mas pressie, girls & my dearest hubby!
As I had promised Shervon to unwrap our pressie after midnight on X'mas Day. The little girl was all excited and we managed to do all that and even planted a magical X'mas Tree (present by Aunt Cherville) Sher got 2 schoolbags fr Aunt Rebekah & Aunt Sharon, a nice entry to school next year. And I got her another PlayDoh Kitchen playset since she likes her 1st given by Uncle Henry & Caining Jie Jie. (現在的孩子真幸福) Btw, I had completed her enrolment for nursery on Jan'08 2 weeks ago. She loved her school uniform and was pestering me on wearing it.
On X'mas day, it was the usual food festive party at mil home. We met relatives, shared the merry season and basically catch-up. The kids had fun playing together.

We attended Cedric & Felicia wedding dinner on last Sunday at Si Chuan Dou Hua at PArk Royal Hotel. Cedric is my future sis-in-law's 2nd brother. Got invited by sis-in-law's mum, I remembered during our wedding, the whole family attended. Obviously, we definitely have to attend. As usual, Sher is in her drama princess mode.. entertaining and chatty throughout the dinner. Apparently, whenever the photographer passed by, she will do her best pose. Even he was tickled by her, giggling away.
But she also pestered me in the middle of dinner that she wanted to go home, maybe she was tired. But she managed to nap a few hours in the afternoon.

Baking and X'mas Shopping!
Last weekend, hubby was away in KL for work but still our activities was exciting and packed with festive mood. Last Saturday, we managed to bake some X'mas cookies just for fun since Sher was hooked on Playdoh. She was engrossed with the dough kneading and pressing the cookie-cutter. Anyway, it's all girly fun including Cai-Ning Jie Jie joining us! The turn-out wasn't fantastic but it's still at passing level, atleast it's edible and not as hard as rock. :P We put alot more flour than the receipe amount as instructed cos the dough was buttery and did'nt stick. Think the butter was way too much.
After dinner at mil place, Serene picked us up for some late night shopping and I really wanted to show Sher the X'mas lightings at Orchard as I really loved this year's Theme, "The Nutcracker" compared to last year which contains the fairytale touch and exude a white christmas feel! We managed to shop for more pressie at Raffles City, most shops opened till 12 mn. Then, we proceeded to Orchard, taking a stroll along the quiet streets, absorbing the X'mas jublilee... snapping and posing most times.

Baby N2
Baby N2 is the Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6 Sport RalliArt Version. And hb chose Pearl white, he kept raving that this is the best colour.. I still preferred Wine Red Metallic. Overall, the monthly payment doesn't choke and is within our comfort zone. :)
I've been mentioning in my previous post that there's TwO major changes or shld I say decisions... Revealing N1 change .. tadaa.... we have just bought a car! Nothing hasty as I've been holding hb back abt getting a car as it's something which we will be financially tied to. Something long-term & might dig into our savings. But, as always it's never my top priority on owning a car. Moreover, I do not have a car license to boot. But, I'm glad and thankful that I will be chauffered during the 'crazy' after office hours and not squeezing into the crampy buses with the crowd. And provided, hb is free to pick me up.

Eye Check-up
We went for Sher's bi-annual eye check-up yesterday. Pleased to say, that her vision is 20/20 after the optometrist did a check. But her eyelid is still droopy and was irritated after a bubble play which caused her eyes to swell. Dr said her eyes were allergic and prescribed some salline drop for 6 months. (4X per day) Good news was the eyelid wasn't blocking her vision, thus if surgery is needed. It's more for cosmetic reason. But, we were advised to observe her for another 6 months. And Dr also mentioned that due to her long eyelashes which constantly irritated her eyes, she prescribed another ointment that needed to apply nightly before she sleep to soften the eyelashes.
I was more worried that her eyelashes can't escaped the fate of dropping.. :P And her coping with all these drop n ointment.. patching her eye daily is a constant struggle with many whines and cries. But, it doesn't turn out that bad as I did it on the 1st night, she's just abit cranky, taking it well. Keep it up darling, I know it's tough.. all these should be over soon.

2 Major Changes
Festive season is around the corner, I can't believe that it's end of the year so fast.. During this year end, there's a few major change in our lives. Anyway, part of me is looking forward to it and the other part is hesitating to take the big step...
